These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the mobile games, website, applications, and related products and services provided by Cat Empire LLC, doing business as Cat Empire Studios (“Cat Empire Studios,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) (collectively, the “Services”).
By accessing or using our Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Services.
1. ABOUT CAT EMPIRE STUDIOS
Cat Empire LLC, doing business as Cat Empire Studios, develops and publishes mobile games and related digital content.
These Terms apply to our games, websites, applications, and other Services that link to or reference these Terms.
2. ELIGIBILITY
You must be legally permitted to use the Services under the laws applicable to you.
If you are under the age at which you may legally agree to these Terms in your jurisdiction, a parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these Terms on your behalf.
Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising their children’s use of the Services, including any purchases made through an app store or platform account.
3. ACCOUNTS AND SIGN-IN FEATURES
Some features of the Services may allow or require you to sign in through a third-party account or platform, such as Google Play, Apple, or another supported service.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of any account or device you use to access the Services.
4. VIRTUAL CURRENCY AND VIRTUAL ITEMS
Our games may include virtual currencies, points, resources, upgrades, characters, items, or other virtual content (“Virtual Items”).
Virtual Items have no real-world monetary value and cannot be redeemed for cash or other real-world value unless expressly required by applicable law.
We may modify, manage, regulate, control, or discontinue Virtual Items as reasonably necessary to operate or update the Services, subject to applicable law and platform requirements.
5. IN-APP PURCHASES
The Services may offer optional in-app purchases, including Virtual Items, upgrades, features, or other digital content.
Purchases are processed through the applicable platform or app store, such as Google Play or the Apple App Store, and are subject to that platform’s payment terms, refund policies, and other applicable rules.
Cat Empire Studios does not directly control the payment processing systems operated by third-party app stores.
6. ADVERTISING AND REWARDED ADS
The Services may display advertisements provided by us or third-party advertising partners.
Some games may offer optional rewarded advertisements that allow you to receive an in-game benefit after viewing or interacting with an advertisement.
Availability and content of advertisements may vary by user, device, location, and other factors.
7. SERVICE AVAILABILITY AND CHANGES
We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue portions of the Services from time to time, including game features, balancing, content, rewards, Virtual Items, and other functionality.
We do not guarantee that every feature of the Services will always be available or remain unchanged.
8. ACCEPTABLE USE
You agree not to misuse the Services or interfere with their normal operation.
You may not attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Services, use cheats or unauthorized software to manipulate gameplay, exploit bugs for improper advantage, interfere with other users, distribute malicious code, or use the Services for unlawful purposes.
We may restrict or terminate access to the Services when reasonably necessary to protect the Services, other users, or our legal rights.
9. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The Services and their content, including software, artwork, graphics, designs, characters, logos, text, audio, game mechanics, and other materials, are owned by or licensed to Cat Empire LLC and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Services for your personal, non-commercial entertainment.
These Terms do not transfer ownership of any intellectual property to you.
10. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
The Services may use or link to third-party services, platforms, software development kits, advertising services, analytics providers, app stores, or other external services.
Your use of third-party services may be subject to separate terms and privacy policies established by those third parties.
We are not responsible for third-party services except to the extent required by applicable law.
11. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Services are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
We do not guarantee that the Services will always be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free from defects.
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
12. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Cat Empire LLC and its affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or relating to your use of the Services.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded.
13. TERMINATION
You may stop using the Services at any time.
We may suspend or terminate your access to some or all of the Services if you materially violate these Terms, misuse the Services, or if suspension or termination is reasonably necessary for security, legal, or operational reasons.
14. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
Any rights you may have under mandatory consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction remain unaffected.
15. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to our Services, business practices, legal requirements, or other operational needs.
When we make changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date above. Where required by law, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent.
Your continued use of the Services after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.
